With system security and data integrity becoming increasingly important, it
is vital that your anti-virus product perform as well as you expect it to.
Below are the results of a test run by myself on a base of over 1,700 viruses
or virus-infected files. In addition, this archive contains the logfile of
each virus scanner. This test may or may not be conclusive in your mind, but
it should hopefully demonstrate that dependence on a single product, solely
due to its perceived reputation, is not always wise.
Keep in mind that the best-known products are not always "the best", and take
the time to review the enclosed data.
